BEHIND THE SCENE

ID/SP Interior Space was founded in 1996 by Principal designerJames Lim and Lynn Goh to provide quality interior design and architectural services to discerning clients both in Singapore and Asia.

The IDSP studio led by Principal Designer James Lim, represents a collective effort of a team of talented and committed professionals who share a singular vision - the creation of innovative and dynamic spaces for today's urban lifestyle.

With clear focus, a flat organisation and innovative communications, we're able to effectively conceptualise, design, execute and implement interior & architectural projects of various scales.

HOW WE WORK

Whilst we spend most of our time on pondering and doodling, what we actually get paid for
is coming up with innovative ideas for dream homes and getting it built for our clients.

Long before we start working on our state-of-the-art CAD/CAM system, we spend a good period of time with our client at Spinelli cafe (downstair from our office) having coffee, so to speak, trying to understand everything about their lifestyle, needs and expectations, mix learning together with a little IDSP magic and you get great work that everybody is proud of. Great design comes from listening and thinking; because great design is effective as well as beautiful.

Rather than working from a pre-determined stylistic philosophy, every one of our projects is customised for our clients. We do not mass produce design, neither have we a predefined notion. We are convinced that these do not work with todays client demands (even if they ever did!).
