"Blurring the boundaries" between interior and exterior, the indegenious architecture is a physical manifestation of the perceived symbiosis between the natural world and the man made world. Within Zen, the garden is much more important than merely another room - it is a source of inspiration, a reminder of "mujo", the transience of all things, a constantly self renewing aid for comtemplation. This house, belong to our indonesian client, sits at the prime district 21. It used to be 25 year old house before we did a complete retrofiting for the interior and exterior, taking down most of the old facade and rebuilding it.
